The Texarkana Breast Health Symposium is a continuing education program for local health care professionals to learn about current trends and topics in breast cancer prevention and treatment. The event is held annually in October and provides valuable information for participants to take back to their practice to enhance treatment and care for breast cancer. The BHS is sponsored by UAMS AHEC Southwest and supported by grant funds from the Texarkana Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
