Mrs. Petray is a clinical social worker. She graduated from Hendrix College in Conway with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She then attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she completed her Master's degree in Social Work in 1993.
Mrs. Petray joined AHEC Fort Smith in 1995. She trains residents in mental health issues and coordinates education planning sessions for each resident bi-annually. She also coordinates the teledietition program, and Tree of Life Tobacco and Drug Free Coalition. She assesses all of our obstetrical patients for social stress and provides counseling to our general patient population upon referral by resident or faculty doctors. She also assists low-income patients in receiving medications from pharmaceutical companies. Mrs. Petray serves on the Sebastian County Child Abuse Prevention Council and the Community Links Council. She is married and has two sons. |
