The Future of Medicine in Arkansas
The Rural Medicine Student Leadership Association (RMSLA) is jointly sponsored by the UAMS Regional Centers and the Arkansas Farm Bureau.
RMSLA Goals:
To provide fellowship and support activities for Rural Practice students
To gather student input into the state's legislature and other policy making forums
To create tangible links between students and communities with need
To provide regular meetings to summarize activities and present speakers to discuss issues of importance to future rural physicians
