This modern well equipped facility is located adjacent to Sparks Regional Medical Center and offers a circuit training area, swimming/lap pool, sauna, hot tubs, aerobic classes, nutrition classes, child care, and indoor walking tracks. All residents receive a complimentary family membership with full use of the facility.

Area Health Education Library

The AHEC Library is located in Sparks Regional Medical Center and serves as an excellent resource for research for the entire medical community.  The library is linked to the UAMS library in Little Rock and to medical libraries nationwide for quick access to any medical materials needed. Computer links enable the resident or student to access abstracts from journals published worldwide. Also, each resident has access to UpToDate at Sparks hospital and in the Clinic. Two full-time librarians are on staff to assist with searches and retrieval of materials.
