Ximena Soledad Schnurr, resident physician, came to AHEC Fort Smith from Ecuador. She attended the Universidad de Cuenca in Ecuador for medical school.
She enjoys the friendly atmosphere and diversity of pathology that AHEC Fort Smith offers. She likes Fort Smith, because it is a small town with a low cost of living and nice people.
Dr. Schnurr's medical interests are adult outpatient and inpatient medicine. She also likes complicated cases and critical care. She is fluent in Spanish.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, Walter, and her son, Walter Steven. They like to go fishing together. She also enjoys playing the piano. |
