The UAMS AHEC Southwest Cancer Registry Staff works together as a team to maintain CoC Standards for approval, collect quality data, treatment information, coordinate cancer committee meetings, tumor boards, educational meetings and maintain current follow up of all patients for both facilities. The Registry staff analyze the data for quality improvement studies and submit cancer registry data to the Texas Cancer Registry, Arkansas Cancer Registry and the National Cancer Data Base.
