The Nursing Education Program at UAMS AHEC Southwest is a branch of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing at the  in Little Rock, Arkansas. UAMS is Arkansas’ only institution of professional and graduate education devoted solely to the health and biological sciences. The UAMS College of Nursing was established in 1953 and the UAMS AHEC Southwest Nursing Education Department was established in 1989.
