Associate Degree
The Associate of Science professional portion of the curriculum consists of four (4) semesters and one (1) summer over 22 continuous months of full-time course work with classes beginning each August. Classroom course work accompanies clinical experiences in most semesters.
Bachelor Degree
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) professional portion of the curriculum consists of six (6) semesters and two (2) summers over 36 months minimum of full-time coursework with classes beginning each August. The B.S. course work is offered via the Web using the Blackboard learning system and offers specialty modalities in the areas of mammography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac–intervention radiography, vascular-intervention radiography, and quality management.
Graduates are eligible to apply to take the national certifying examination given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography. Bachelor of Science degree graduates may be eligible to take an advanced certification examination in their specialty area. Successful completion of the program does not itself ensure registration.
