The UAMS Physician Placement Service has two full-time Physician Recruiters dedicated to serving the recruitment needs of our partner communities by:

• Assisting hospitals with the development of detailed profiles for their available opportunities
• Promoting practice opportunities to UAMS residents as well as practicing physicians
• Utilizating various National and Local internet job boards
• Referring interested candidates to communities
• Providing training to community hospitals on topics such as successful site visit planning and the development of recruitment and retention strategies
